Many of you know that I have a love for cosplay. My costumes use to be quite big like a 8' rancor, Optimus Prime, an AT-ST and a walking puppet theater with Statler and Waldorf. Plus many others. But my body has given up and I can't wear them anymore. The Last one I did was Fozzie the Bear which was just a fursuit, so very light. Plus, I rode on my mobility scooter. Even then, I did the contest but couldn't even ride my scooter with it on for their parade. It left me on the verge of passing out. 😢
Well, my very first cosplay was Rhino. The Iowa Cosplay (especially !) welcomed me and made me stop feeling like an idiot dressed in a costume at a bookstore! Honestly, it's still my favorite costume. But the cats peed on it. 🤢😡 I did build a second one, but it wasn't very good.
Now, after a horrible rendition in Spider-Man, it looks like Rhino might be getting a proper outing in December's Kraven movie!!! So, I'm going to try and give it one, final hurrah! Here's the base of the muscle suit. Now to decide how best to cover it. Not sure if I want to try gluing down an oversized shirt and pants, or just glue down a knit fabric. Then spray with plasti-dip.
So if any team or theater wants a Rhino for the Premier, just follow and let me know!
