Here’s the scoop for September!
I’ll be at the Des Moines Downtown farmer’s market September 5th, 12th, and 19th! We’re open from 7am-noon, and you can find my booth on 4th Street - I’m in front of the Copper Cup. September is a great month to visit the farmers market- so much produce is in season, and I think it’s a little bit less congested! Of course, you can always come early if you don’t like the crowds.
What’s new for September? I have some new fall and Halloween bunting, along with Halloween patchwork pillows (including matching pillows & bunting)! I’m excited about my new display boards for bunting & key fobs. I finished a huge restock of tote bags last week, and there are new bookmarks, elastic pen holders, and boxy pouches this week!
I am working on some batch sewing this month, because I have two big markets coming up in October - I’ll be at Junkstock October 2, 3, and 4, and then at Vintage & Made on October 10! This will be my first time at Junkstock so I’m pretty excited! Vintage & Made is one of my favorite shows every year, and this year it is a bit later in the year, so I’m hoping it will be even better with more fall & Halloween vibes! I’ll be back at downtown for the final 3 weekends in October.
I am not doing the Valley Junction farmer’s market this month. It’s been a slow season for me at Valley Junction, and I could really use that time to be sewing new inventory!
