I greatly appreciate this whole teams effort to come together for a great cause! Over 1 million dollars was raised in efforts to help open a new location and care for patients and families. This year the acts were beyond amazing. Can't wait to next year!

Planting an idea from seed to fruition is such a blessing. What's even more amazing is sharing the journey with so many people. I've been sowing into Nik Star Designs for 14 years this month. It was my dream to use my gift to serve my community in so many different ways. It has taking me to the farthest I've ever thought was possible. Now I give myself permission to sit and look back on what I've accomplished.

With that being said I'm closing the book on Nik Star Designs and taking some much needed time to enjoy fashion in a different way, a more personal way. I have ended my lease at my studio space with this being my final month. I will no longer be taking on anymore clients(no worries if you have an current contract with me I still got you😉). I cannot thank my support system, internet friends, clients, and cheerleaders here and far! I'm not sure what's next but I'm excited af to share my journey so don't go too far😘.

Baddie baddie 🐾 💙🤍

Had a last minute client that was attending her hbcu homecoming and needed a quick turn a round! When I say quick I mean days. So boom I got her for a corset I already had made that for her perfectly. Next I cut apart a previous corset she brought in that didn't quite fit her vision. It took me one day to complete the pattern and layout and finished up the day of pick up. I was SWEATING the whole time because this was a complete freestyle so she had no clue what it was going to look like until pick up. She said she fully trusted me and this is what I came up with. I used 90% of the material she brought in and the rest was creative ingenuity.
