How does a logo survive for decades without fading?

A local art teacher in Madison sketched a dragon that would outlast gym renovations, school mergers, and a whole lot of small-town change. For four decades, that logo wasn't just a mascot, it was Friday nights under the lights, post-game booths at the diner, and every kid who ever wore those colors.
Schools merge. Teams change. Towns grow. But Madison never forgot what that dragon meant.

You knew exactly what you were doing. Windows down, no GPS, just a few extra miles between you and the end of a good day. Back roads that everybody in town knew by heart. A lake route that added twenty minutes and felt worth every one of them.
