Western States isn't built in a day.

"I wasn't really planning on hiking today..."

No perfect gear list.
No months of preparation.
No epic expedition.

Just a free afternoon, a nearby trail, and the decision to go.

The outdoor world doesn't belong only to thru-hikers, ultrarunners, and people chasing summit records.

Sometimes adventure is a sunrise walk before work.
