Wrote this on facebook 11/27/2020 so exactly a year ago I was in the same mental state. This statement is true in way as long as it does’nt affect your personal life and growth. I’ve learned this last 3 months while it felt good to focus on being a mom and not having to worry everyday about posts or anything business related. I strengthened my relationship with my baby and was able to recenter and focus on what my actual goal was. The worry didn’t disappear the want and the need to create generational wealth for my family stayed and I could never fully be at peace until that part of me is fulfilled. I say this to say yes take time for yourself, but do it an a healthy productive way that doesn’t send you into depression and allows you to take a break with out actually leaving. Set things into place so that you can have that mental space to be the best you possible. Whether that’s you time on a specific day of the month or setting aside time everyday to focus on one thing at a time. Just separate your business from pleasure work on your business for 2 hours then put it at the back of your mind, because there are way more important things going on around us. That we don’t want to miss!
