This is where the rig comes to life. In Moho Pro 14, facial controls take your character from flat to fully expressive.

We just added eyebrow movement, eye tracking, and blinking — and it’s a game changer. Whether it’s subtle emotion or exaggerated reactions, these controls give you real range in your animation.

🎭 Facial controls = emotional storytelling
📌 Clean rig = smoother animation

After setting up facial expressions, it’s time to take it further — by giving your character real focus.
In this Moho Pro 14 rigging breakdown, I show how to create custom controls and actions that move the pupils up, down, left, and right. These subtle shifts make your characters feel alive, aware, and reactive.

👁️ Clean pupil tracking = better eye contact and storytelling
🔧 Easy to animate with control points and actions

Facial controls bring your character rig to life — from blinking to eyebrow movement and subtle emotion shifts. In this clip from Part 3: Facial Controls in Moho Pro 14, I explain why these controls are a must if you want expressive, dynamic animations.

🎨 Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your rigging game, this step will make your characters act, not just move.

🧠 Smart bones = smooth joints.
This the cleanup phase where I test all the bends — arms, legs, torso — and fix anything off with Smart Bones.

💡 If it bends weird, I correct it.
🔧 If it glitches, I patch it up.
🎯 If it ain’t smooth, I don’t move on.

This is that “rig like a pro” step that separates the amateurs from the animators.

🧠 Binding bones like a pro 💀
You got your skeleton, now what? Gotta attach them layers so your rig can actually MOVE.

💥 Here’s my method:
— Flexi-bind for limbs + body
— Layer-bind the head
— Point-bind the hips for that solid lower torso flex 🔧

No guesswork, just what WORKS.

🌀 Watch how the setup connects smooth and tight.

🚨 The rigging begins!
This is where the real work starts — laying down that skeleton so your character can MOVE. I always kick things off from the root bone, working my way up through the body, locking in structure and flow. No fluff, just what works 💪🏾

🎯 Not step-by-step, but definitely game-changing if you're trying to rig in Moho like a pro.
