We just want to say thank you to everybody who was able to make it out to our one night installation of the series, “The Movement Was Built on the Corner,” a collaboration from Corner Store Goods and artist .greer.

It was an honor to be able to host you all for an evening. The love you showed us was more than we could have asked for.

The Movement Was Built on the Corner looks to pay homage to Black led grassroots and resistance movements throughout history. We connected with artist .greer to bring this vision to life and he interpreted this concept into six beautiful paintings.

Darian “Saint” Greer is a multidimensional creator from Detroit. He utilizes several materials to tell a story of us as beings of light. More importantly, he wants you to know that you are powerful and that you should be proud of whomever you are. Appreciate the body you inhabit, love the heritage you come from, embrace the time-space you are moving through right now. He believes you are infinite, greater, and brighter than anything this material universe can conceive. This is what Greer’s work seeks to delineate.

Next Thursday, February 27th, join us for a one night art installation and pop up at to celebrate the release of our collaborative collection with .greer “The Movement Was Built on the Corner.”

The titular collection is inspired by the grassroots movements throughout history that started with boots on the ground in cities like Detroit. Artist Saint Greer interpreted this concept into 6 unique paintings encapsulating the essence of these movements across generations.

Excited to announce this one. Our new experience — The Sound of the Streets, an event featuring clothing, music and wine. Happening February 7th at , we’ll be providing space that allows you to hear good music, sip quality wine and engage with us and our apparel.
