Sophia found this pre-loved wedding dress on a resell site and had it altered into a mini for a later in the reception look! 🤍

When Anna brought me her wedding dress, the first thing I noticed was that everything was sitting too high.... the bust, the waist, the hip, all in the wrong place like it was made for someone with a much shorter torso.
I undid the seam at the shoulder and pulled everything down into place. I then used remnants from the hem to make the strap longer in back, hiding the new seams under lace that was already there. A perfect fit! 🤍

Savannah loved everything about her wedding gown, except for the very deep V in front. I was able to open the bodice and close the majority of the V from the inside. The waist and side bust needed to be taken in anyway, so that negated any distortion that may have happened when closing the front. I also added a waist-stay or belt to the inside to help hold the dress up because it was HEAVY!!!

She altered my mom’s wedding dress in to a rehearsal dinner dress for me, created a hair bow out of my mom and grandma’s wedding dresses, altered my wedding dress, and altered a lehenga for me. The perfect dress for a garden party themed bridal shower. It even has floral and lattice style lace🌷🌼🌸🌻

For this mother's wedding dress redesign, we chopped the hem to tea-length, shortened the waist, and removed the zipper in back, replacing it with a lace-up corset style closure.
