Working on a client project that's looking really good, but the pleats on the left are resistant to being 2 inches and staying within my 1/16 inch tolerance. I clipped, basted by hand and they still expanded during machine basting.

I absolutely hate the way the CF pleat narrows as it drops. The only way to correct it is to pick the stitches, press it flat and remark everything leaving deeper folds at the CenterFront to create a beautiful full drop.

In my pursuit of the perfect trim for a new creation, I decided to create my own.

The shredded edges are just the perfect touch. The fabric is fraying out beautifully.

Full STOP.

Well s**t, I'm going to have to run a fringe line stitch to stop the fraying.

Quick calculations follow, is the extra time and labor worth the effect?

Hell YES it is....all 3204 inches of stitching!!
