Etsy terms have changed since I first started looking into selling there. When all the fees, commissions and shipping are added the price of a handmade dog product is no longer reasonable.

Adding in the insane amount of resellers that have inundated the site selling cheapest quality products and the crazy return policy that favors dishonest people,
I have come to the conclusion Etsy won't work for me.

All this to explain why Barks N Bow Wows, will be closing up shop.

At one point, I thought we had a shot, but in this economy, people are looking for a deal... and I can't compete in that market.

Etsy shop is moving even slower than originally intended.

2 days after we moved in, I sprained my ankle really badly after a tumble down a couple concrete stairs outside. Courtesy of my Basset pulling at the most inopportune time.

I'm on the mend though, so grateful for that.

Barks n Bow-Wows has been on a long hiatus as lots of changes happening!!

First happening...
As of this weekend, we relocated out of the Missouri area.
I know... 😔 I will miss all your doggie snuggles and smiling faces.

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!

We are slowly in process of setting up our new Etsy shop.
You'll be able to still purchase some old favorites, as well as some new fashions for holidays, special occasions and a line of special order fashion tshirts!

All with Barks n Bow-Wows signature flare!

I miss my spokesdog. Here's hoping he's been keeping his mommy nice and warm this winter. Jen Brown
