It’s been a weird year.

It started out with some health stuff and then my best-friend-velcro-dog of 11 years got sick, then passed away.

Then what’d we do? Got a puppy 🤦‍♀️

Aaand then my other dog had 4 skin masses removed, one was cancer.

So it’s been a weird year. I haven’t tie dyed much at all! I finally got around to tie dyeing something today! This is a crate cover I’m making for the puppy. She naps better with it covered and the blanket we’re using is too boring 😂

Join us August 15th from 6:00-7:30 PM to learn about the history of natural dyeing. You will have the opportunity to dye a bandana using materials found in nature. I had a wonderful previous customer ask for another shirt similar to hers! I call this my conch shell spiral, where I apply the dye in stripes instead of pie slices. I love how it looks!

Materials used:
White 100% cotton tee
Tweezers
Masking tape
Crayola marker
Dharma Procion Dyes: Nightshade and Orchid
Soda Ash
Ice
Boiling water
Dawn dish soap

24 hours melt/process time
