Lady Houdini Shawls was founded in 2013, when the creator of M&M designs found the corporate rat race to be exhausting and sought out an opportunity to be her own boss. These items were created after a failed attempt at fashion school and a night of frustration at her sewing machine. Yearning for a fashionable yet functional design, the Lady Houdini Shawl was born. It is worn over the head in almo

st a poncho-like style and gives you four wearable options. You can drape it with the seam to the front, seam to the back, seam to the side or tie it around your neck as a scarf. The item is light weight but warm and is flattering on all body types. I take my shawl every where from traveling in the airport, a first date on a crisp evening, and it stores convenient and wrinkle-free at the bottom of my purse whenever I find myself chilled.
