🌈 LITTLE FINDS ✨

Today was a little different from our usual “find” 👟🍇

Pio and I did the Charity 5K Run at Serre Vineyards for Shepherd’s House in Mt. Airy this morning and honestly…we were probably the last two people to finish 😂 We walked as fast as we could LOL. BUT we finished and I’m proud of us for doing it. I try to do things like this just to get out of my comfort zone.

The weather was gloomy and foggy, but at least it wasn’t pouring rain like it has been the last few days 😂 The vineyard views were still beautiful, and hanging out afterward listening to That 90s Duo made the whole thing really fun. They were SO good and honestly such a perfect fit for the whole vineyard vibe. 💛

Also…I still absolutely hate working out LOL. But this actually ended up being way more fun than I expected and kinda motivated us to try doing more stuff like this.

Today was definitely a learning experience 🚗🌈

I had a little car table setup outside Rock Steady for Cruise-In Saturday and honestly learned a LOT about location and setup.

BUT…I still really love the idea of making Cruise-In Saturdays a regular thing because it fits the nostalgic vibe of Rock Steady so well.

Since we already have Spring/Summer hours from 11 AM–4 PM, I’ve been thinking it could be fun to keep the shop open during the day and maybe do a Cruise-In table setup from 4 PM–7 PM every 3rd Saturday.

I live here, run my business here, shop here, support local businesses here, and truly love being part of the Dobson community–so I’d really love to find a way to be more involved moving forward.

Also…a LOT of people still don’t realize where Rock Steady is yet 😂 We’re tucked in the back parking lot in Downtown Dobson, so we’re still working on getting more visible and helping people find us.

Does anybody know who I would contact about possibly setting something like that up downtown?
