Kittens, kittens & more kittens!! We are overwhelmed with kittens! These are just a few of the over 30 very young kittens we have taken in. We do have some that are at the age where they are ready to be spayed/neutered and available for adoption. Many are still too young.
If you have thought about adopting a cat or kitten now is the time! Please come see us! We have some great adult cats available as well!
We are truly doing everything we can but we have had MANY people showing up at our shelter with kittens. We are a private rescue, We do not euthanize for space. Once we take in an animal it is with us until adopted, however long that takes! It truly breaks our heart to have to say no but we are going to be forced to put an intake hold on kittens. We simply do not have the space and a place to put them. We cannot take in more than we can appropriately care for and we are at that point now. If you find kittens please watch and see if there is a mother cat around. Sometimes the mom is just off searching for food and will be back. The kittens are much better off left for the mom to care for them. Very young kittens have no immunity and it is very difficult to keep them healthy in a shelter environment. This kitten season is a tough one and we are just overwhelmed. PLEASE get you cats spayed and neutered!! Please adopt!
