This is the process of dyeing our men’s tees, Forest Smoke, inspired by the ancient Japanese technique of Shibori. Traditionally, Shibori is a resist-dyeing method that involves folding, twisting, or binding fabric before dyeing it, creating unique patterns that are hard to replicate twice. We love this slow, intentional process because it celebrates imperfection, creativity, and the natural flow of dye through fabric, just like nature itself.

Our dyeing partners in Bali practice this art mindfully, using only plant-based pigments extracted from local sources such as mango leaves and umbrella tree leaves. These botanical dyes are free from harmful chemicals, making them gentler on the planet and on your skin. 🌿

Each tee is crafted from GOTS-certified organic cotton, ensuring it’s grown without toxic pesticides or synthetic fertilisers. This protects farmers and ecosystems and results in softer, more breathable fabric that feels better on the body and lasts longer.
