Downtown Apex is in a season of transition. It’s been hard on small businesses with construction, closures, and rising rent.
I’ve thought a lot about what it means to stay, what it means to let go, and what it means to keep going in uncertainty. I’m still here, still trying, still loving this little store deeply.
I don’t have all the answers yet, but I do know I want to be honest about what this season really looks like while I keep showing up and pouring into this space as long as I can.
A lot of small businesses downtown are feeling this - some have already closed, and many of us are still navigating what comes next.
