Learn about the interminable legacy of America’s Fashion Designer, HALSTON. This fantastic event will highlight our latest scholarship design challenge at Lipscomb University in Nashville in partnership with Culture & Co., a local non profit that supports local artists and encourages diverse creative expression.

Situated at 1Hotel Nashville, guests will enjoy a Halston archives exhibit with original pieces as well as Halston themed art procured by Culture and Co. artists, followed by the student fashion show where we will select the winner of the scholarship provided through the generosity of The Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation. After all the glamour, we will dance the night away at our House of Halston disco!

Join us - HALSTON: A Legacy of Style and Taste in Nashville on Oct 16-17. Our latest design challenge at Lipscomb University will culminate with a fabulous weekend in partnership with Culture & Co. at 1Hotel Nashville.

Guests will enjoy a Halston originals archive exhibit and contemporary Halston inspired art by Culture &Co artists followed by a student Halston themed fashion show. The winner will receive the WITH LOVE HALSTON scholarship award, made possible through the generosity of the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation. We will the have a Halston themed disco afterparty and dance the night away.

We are so excited to be kicking off the fall semester with this awesome challenge at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. Lipscomb houses one of the three largest Halston archives in the country. It will be so amazing to see how the students use this treasure trove of inspiration as they channel the Halston style into their own interpretive designs.

This challenge will culminate with a fabulous weekend at 1Hotel in Nashville Oct 16-17 with an exclusive patron dinner and Halston archive pop-up exhibit as well as incredible contemporary Halston themed art from the artists associated with Culture and Co. Guests will then enjoy the student fashion show, and after party! Get your tickets today - space is limited!

All proceeds go entirely to the With Love Halston scholarship and the work of the foundation to continue uplifting Halston’s legacy and his innumerable contributions to American style and culture. This challenge will also raise funds for Culture and Co. that works to support the arts locally and make more diverse voices heard through creative expression. In late June, Antonio Contreras produced a fabulous event "Runway of Pride" at Glide Memorial Church. Our three winners from WLHxSFAA; #1 Eva Kam, #2 Mimi Shen & #3 Michal Rezoni (missing image) were invited to show their designs along side the great and venerable Pat Cleveland and many other local up and coming SF designers!

The lovely Ramona Giwargis, journalist extraordinaire and certified fashion designer, has been a devoted life long fan of Halston. Last fall she visited the Halston retrospective exhibit in Odessa, TX at the Ellen Noel Museum, where she wore a hand sewn Halston dress from a vintage McCalls pattern. Ramona currently is supporting our With Love Halston non profit through her purchase of these two posters of 1970s Halston Originals illustrated by Joe Eula. They are on display at her sewing studio called Stitch and Sip in Las Vegas. The Spring With Love Halston challenge at Drexel University was fantastic. The students have so much talent and we appreciate how much effort they put in to channeling Halston’s timeless aesthetic. Thank you to Drexel University faculty Lisa Hayes and Kate Bianco and our dear Sandra Blumberg and The Dogooders of Philadelphia for bringing WLH to the University and to our esteemed judging panel including Cynthia Nordstrom and Ken Downing of Halston. Thank you also to The Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation for their generous support of this scholarship. Congratulations to winner Jason Trosset - one to watch!

Be among the select few to own these incredible reproduction posters that duplicate the look of Halston’s corkboard at his Atelier at Olympic Tower. All the artwork is derived exclusively from the official Halston archives directly from Halston’s personal collection and originally created by Joe Eula and Steven Sprouse. Halston used to lay out all the sketches, and then select which looks would be included in his seasonal collection.
