The Monkey’s Uncle is the go-to shopping destination for sports fans looking to give unique retro and Philly sports related gifts, but it's so much more than just a store! Awesome since 2010, The Monkey's Uncle is a retro inspired tee shirt boutique that uses our love for everything old school to empower students of all abilities to find their awesomeness! Our core mission is to provide mentorship

and job skills to special needs students of all abilities, through partnerships with local school districts and support programs. The “Monkey on a Mission” impacts nearly a dozen students each week, giving them valuable skills, experience, purpose, and a sense of pride in knowing that we are all equally as awesome.

No I am not shopping my competition.🤪
But I am doing homework …..
so you see 16 years ago this week we opened our little shop 21 east state street. And for the sole reason of giving our kid a chance in this world to be himself to be loved to be accepted and to grow …. Fast forward 16 years and a much bigger location 123 south main .
We employ over half a dozen young adults with different abilities my ENTIRE STAFF are parents , caregivers and teachers of the super powered world !!! Can a big box offer that … Not like we do !
What I learned is that even tho we were here first ( way before rally house ) we can never compete with their level of Stock, selection , sales . We will alway make sure our shop is HOME … a home that everyone who walks In feels seen loved and cherished and that if your buying a hacky sack for $10 or a Mitchell and Ness satin jacket for $110 you are valuable to us …
So when you’re buying your sports gear for pop pop .. dad … or who ever is on that list … shop small first !….
