My latest exhibit is part of a series featuring members of Oak Street Art hosted at the Sharp Museum at SIUC. Sue Gindlesparger and I teamed up to present our work. It is on display now through the closing reception on December 12 from 4-6.

Part 2 of the Oak Street Art Collective Member Series is now open at the Sharp Museum at SIU. This show will highlight the artistic expressions of Sue Gindlesparger and Nicki Rathert.

Join us for the reception on December 12 and get a chance to meet the artists. The show closes December 13th.

Introducing: Lemon Breeze

This warp has been brightening up the studio with every pass of the shuttle. Cheerful and crisp, Lemon Breeze pairs buttery yellow with sky blue in a soft, sunny check that practically hums with summer air and fresh laundry on the line. I’ve been having so much fun watching these colors blend and shift. It reminds me of having backyard picnics when my kids were little.

Stay tuned to see what it becomes. 💛💙

Tying on the next warp in this series! I have an affinity for gradients, but I'm doing something different for this summer-inspired piece. Let's see how some big checks look!

Introducing: Morning Bloom.
This piece flew across my loom so quickly this week, I barely had time to snap a photo—always a sign I'm in the flow.

It’s the newest addition to my Morning Light Series, inspired by the quiet breath of a spring morning: soft petals, cool air, and the promise of bloom.

Two upcoming opportunities to see my work in Carbondale this summer!

I have a piece I call "Dappled Light" in "Locality - Biennial Exhibition," hosted by Artspace 304. The exhibition will be on view at the gallery from June 06 - July 25. There will be an Artist Reception on June 06, from 5 - 7 pm.

I have also installed a solo show at Booby's - such a fun space! It is called "From The Vault" and features pieces spanning the past nine years of my weaving journey. That show will be on view through all of June. There is an Artist Reception on Friday, June 13, from 6 - 8 pm.

Both receptions are open to the public, and I would love to see your smiling faces there!

Freshly woven: Dawnline

This warp is the first in my Morning Light series. Inspired by the soft glow just after sunrise, when the sky shifts into blush, cream, and blue before the day warms up.

Can’t wait to share more from this series as the light keeps changing.

Stay tuned to follow the rest!
