Marilyn is 93, and she took a fall.

Marilyn fell last week and messed herself and glasses up. She is bruised, but healing well, just some swelling left to go down.

I already fixed up an old frame with new lenses, and she ordered new Vera Wang glasses, so she has a pair and a spare.

In the picture you can see the pair she was wearing (I instinctively straightened it before I took the pic) when she fell, and her sassy new Vera Wang.

Marilyn wears lined trifocal lenses, no progressive lenses for her!

With some delays we had to overcome, I wanted to share Jean's new glasses.

She won my Freedom 250 glasses last month. The frame she picked is a Lisa Loeb (comment if you remember her), her lenses are digital progressives in Trivex, which is a special light weight material, with anti-reflective coating.

You may also notice some additional numbers on her prescription, which is prism. Prism fixes double vision by moving the image going into the eyes so the brain can merge them into one image rather than two.

Congratulations again to Jean, and stay tuned, you never know when I might give more glasses away.

Cindy drove here from North Carolina in search of fun eyeglasses, she was not disappointed.

I went to high school with Cindy, but she now lives in North Carolina. She contacted me earlier in the year about glasses, and told me she would be back in town this summer. It's summer!

Cindy likes bold Eyewear, I have this Marciano frame that isn't shy, and the rest is history.

Cindy got herself some digital progressive lenses and anti-reflective coating to go in her bold frame.

Congratulations to Jean Erion, she is my winner of a free pair of glasses.

Jean is a brand new customer who just bought glasses somewhere else, but needed nose pads that company was unable to provide, so she came to me. While she was here she filled out an entry form....and she won.

I had to special order her nose pads for her, but that's the kind of stuff I do....get you what you need.

She made the right choice to come see me.....she got the nose pads she needs, and a new pair of glasses too.

Thanks to everyone that entered, and my sympathy to those that didn't.
