DeBora Rachelle was established in 1990 with the opening of their first store. By 1993 DeBora Rachelle had 3 stores and was well into the process of having a multi-chain store. In 1994, the original store was expanded and DeBora Rachelle (DR) was the first prom dress store EVER on the internet. DeBora herself learned HTML to make a website as no classes were even taught on the subject yet. By 1995
, the Internet store was outselling all 3 of the other stores combined and production could not keep up. By 2000 manufacturing of DR's designs was transferred to China and 3 DR factories were established there. DeBora's dresses were everywhere, on celebrities, at the Oscars, in movies, in TV shows, and shown in every major magazine. By 2007, DR was the number #1 most recognized name among Prom Dress designers in the world. In 2008, an out-of-the-blue offer came in from a competitor to buy DeBora Rachelle. Debora took the offer and retired but quickly realized, she was too young to retire and too driven to relax. She tried to help other artists by opening up an art fair in 2010 and in 2017. It became the largest art fair in northern MN, which she sold in 2017 when her non-compete clause had ended and she started designing again. This time in the home textiles industry where she invented and patented a new line of bed sheets and duvet covers. After licensing them out in Canada, she went on to pursue her new endeavor, a new suitcase and with the trademarked brand name, "Packwrite". Keep watching for more details.
