Every time I pack up my sewing machine I pack my to do pile just in case no one turns up (the first time I did a repair clinic no one brought anything to fix and my brain constantly reminds me of this 😅). But you guys keep showing up and I can probably stop bringing back-up projects 🥹 Fellow patrons (and myself) are continually amazed at the following this little idea has.

Thanks for proving that mending is a legit need and a niche that needs to be filled. Thanks for supporting a resurgence in repair and for opting to go out of your way to get it fixed instead of just tossing it. Thanks for appreciating that this is a dying art and for trusting me to to do it for you. Thanks for your support. Trust your crazy ideas.

Bring me your ripped clothes this Monday- I’ll be at the Mount Royal library from 3-7pm. I work on a first come first serve basis and will fix as much as possible within this time frame. No alterations please 🙂
