Not too damn bad for a $10 investment. 😂

Did it take a while to sell? Yep.
Could I probably have held out and gotten more? Also yep.

But am I going to bitch about turning TEN DOLLARS into $400?

Absolutely not. 😂💰

This right here is why I love what I do. Sometimes things sell overnight, sometimes they sit there judging me for months until the right buyer comes along. Either way, the right stuff is worth waiting on.

$10 ➡️ $400.

I’ll take that win ALL. DAY. LONG. 👏

🚨 SHED CLEAN-OUT TIME! 🚨

I am FINALLY getting around to cleaning out one of these sheds. 😂🙌 And trust me when I say… there is a LOT in here.

👀 WATCH THE COMMENTS ON THIS POST!

As I dig through everything, I’ll be posting items in the comments that I DO NOT plan on listing online — mainly because I have absolutely ZERO desire to ship them. 😂

If you see something you want, CLAIM IT!

⚠️ BUT PLEASE READ THIS PART:
If you claim an item, it MUST be picked up within 24 HOURS.

Please do not claim something and then disappear, tell me you’ll “get it sometime this week,” or leave me chasing you down. I’m cleaning OUT the shed, not rearranging it and holding things for people. 😂

If you cannot pick it up within 24 hours, please do not claim it. I love you all, but do not waste my time or someone else’s chance to grab it.

Some stuff will be cheap. Some stuff might be REALLY cheap. And who knows what the hell I’m even going to find buried in there. 🤣

👇 KEEP WATCHING THE COMMENTS — ITEMS WILL BE ADDED AS I FIND THEM!

A little personal post from behind the business page tonight. ❤️

If you’ve followed this page for a while, you know the last year has been… well, a lot. 😂 There have been changes, setbacks, stress, hard decisions, and plenty of moments where I wondered what the hell I was doing.

But lately, I’ve been learning something I probably should have learned a long time ago:

Sometimes you have to stop living your entire life for everyone else and actually LIVE a little for yourself.

Today was one of those days. ❤️

We took a road trip to the New York State Fair in Syracuse — Glen, Dawn, Alex and me. Once we got there, Alex basically deserted Glen, Dawn, and me for the entire day to hang out with her friends. 🤦‍♀️😂 So the three of us wandered the fair, laughed at entirely too much ridiculous stuff, ate, explored, and somehow managed to walk roughly TEN MILES.

And yes… my feet are currently reconsidering their relationship with me. 😂

But the entire reason for the trip was Trace Adkins. 🤠❤️

And tonight I got to hear him sing my absolute favorite song, “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” LIVE.

My life is complete. 😂❤️

It might sound like something small, but that’s exactly the point.

For so long, everything has been about what needs to be done next. The business. The responsibilities. The problems. The people who need something. The next fire that needs to be put out.

You can get so busy surviving your life that you forget you’re supposed to enjoy it too.

This week has been different.

It’s been a really great week. There have been awesome things happening, some really good news, and moments that have made me stop and realize just how appreciative I am.

And maybe that’s one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned through all the changes with this business:

Choosing yourself isn’t selfish.

Take the road trip.

Go see the concert.

Spend the day with people you love.

Laugh until your stomach hurts.

Do something completely unnecessary simply because it makes you happy.

The work will still be there tomorrow. Trust me. Mine certainly will. 😂

But you don’t get today back.

So tonight, after approximately 47 years worth of walking 😂, hearing my favorite song live, spending the day with some of my favorite people, and making another memory I’ll never forget…

I’m tired.

My feet are DEAD.

But my heart is very, very full. ❤️

And I’m incredibly grateful.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself — and even for your business — is remember that there’s a whole life outside of it that deserves to be lived too.

🌧️ Day #7,856 of rain.

At this point, I’m convinced the universe knows I have s**t to do and is taking it personally. 🤦‍♀️

Two sheds packed full. A patio full of totes, a storage unit rental.. Not to mention my house my garage my basement… 😭 Approximately 47 years’ worth of stuff to sort through, photograph, list, sell, and somehow organize…

Universe: Absolutely not, bitch. Here’s some more rain. 🌧️

I’m taking bets now that we’ll have our first blizzard sometime in September. Because God forbid I get three consecutive days of decent weather and actually accomplish a damn thing. 😂

So if you’re waiting for yard sale dates, new listings, or wondering whether I’ve disappeared into one of the sheds and been buried alive by vintage home decor — I’m still here.

Just waiting for Mother Nature to get her s**t together. 😑🌧️😂

Two years ago, these two sweet girls came to us from a major hoarding case in Olean involving more than 70 cats. Both were pregnant when they were rescued. 💔🐾

Now look at them. ❤️

For the past two years, they’ve known full bellies, warm beds, safety, love, and apparently the belief that this little loveseat belongs entirely to them. 😂

This is what rescue can look like.

Behind every animal sitting in a shelter or foster home is a story we may never fully know. Some have been neglected. Some abandoned. Some have never known what it feels like to be safe.

And sometimes, all it takes is one person saying, “You can come home with me.”

Please, when you’re ready to add an animal to your family, ADOPT. Check your local shelters and rescues. Give the scared one a chance. Give the older one a chance. Give the one everyone keeps walking past a chance.

Adopt. Save a life. ❤️🐾

You may think you’re rescuing them, but somehow they have a way of rescuing a little piece of us, too. 🐱❤️

🚨 TODAY’S EPISODE OF: THINGS I ALMOST FORGOT HAPPENED AT THE STORE 🚨

Now that the store is officially closed, apparently my brain has decided it’s safe to start unlocking some of the memories I had buried for my own sanity. 😂

Today’s throwback: the consigner who thought I was rude.

Let’s revisit why, shall we?

👉 I asked TEN TIMES for photos of what she wanted to consign. TEN. Not once. Not twice. TEN TIMES. Never got them.

👉 Instead, she showed up ON OUR DAY OFF expecting us to stand there and inventory everything together.

👉 I was then informed that she had all kinds of “treasures” worth a fortune.

Narrator: They were not worth a fortune.

In fact, some of these priceless treasures arrived broken.

And some came with a little something extra that absolutely nobody asked for…

🐀 Rat p**s and rat s**t.

Yes. You read that correctly.

And somehow, after all of this, I was the rude one. 😂

Listen, maybe my customer-service sparkle dimmed a little when I realized I was standing there on my DAY OFF examining someone’s rodent-contaminated family fortune. I’m only human.

This is exactly why I keep saying I could write a damn book about owning that store. You could not MAKE UP half the s**t that happened in there.

And somewhere out there, I’m probably still the villain in this story.

I can live with that. 😂💀

Stay tuned. Apparently my brain has an entire vault of these stories it’s ready to reopen.

08/26/2026

I swear, every single time I start thinking maybe I’m too cynical and I should have a little more faith in people, life comes along and says, “Nope. Sit your ass back down.” 🙄

I am so unbelievably sick of being screwed over.

I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I try to be patient. I try to understand that s**t happens, people get busy, things take longer than expected, and life doesn’t always go according to plan.

But there comes a point where patience starts feeling a whole lot like being taken advantage of.

And THAT is where I’m at.

No names. No details. No public dragging. At least not today. 😂 But soon if something doesn’t change.

Just sitting here wondering why basic things like communication, honesty, and doing what you said you were going to do have apparently become unreasonable expectations.

This is exactly why I have less and less faith in people.

Every damn time I give someone the benefit of the doubt, I end up wishing I hadn’t.

Anyway… stay tuned. Because apparently my life needed another fu***ng storyline. 🤦‍♀️

08/26/2026

I SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SHOP MY OWN SHEDS. 😂🤦‍♀️

Seriously. This is becoming a problem.

I closed a vintage home decor store, packed everything into sheds and storage, and somehow my brain has decided that means I now have my own PERSONAL HOME DECOR SHOP conveniently located in my backyard.

Every tote I open:

“Ooooooh, I forgot I had this.”

“That would look AMAZING in my bedroom.”

“I definitely need this.”

“Oh s**t, I have TWO of these?!”

Meanwhile, my bedroom is slowly turning into a booth at an antique mall. 😂

At this rate, I’m not going to need a bigger bedroom.

I’m going to need a bigger HOUSE.

And before anyone says, “Joanna, you’re supposed to be SELLING this stuff…”

Mind your business. 😂😂😂

I spent years buying cool s**t for everybody else. Apparently now it’s MY TURN.

The sheds are dangerous.

Someone take away my shopping privileges.

Actually, don’t. I just remembered there’s another shed I haven’t gone through yet. 😬😂

08/25/2026

Ya know what’s actually pretty damn cool about closing down a vintage home décor store?

When you suddenly decide you’re sick of looking at your own house, you don’t have to go shopping. 😂

You just walk out to one of your storage sheds and go, “Hmmmm… what personality are we giving this room today?”

New lamps? Got ’em.
Artwork? Approximately 47 million pieces.
Random vintage s**t I completely forgot I owned? Obviously.
Enough décor to redecorate the entire house without spending a dime? ABSOLUTELY.

There are some perks to having an ungodly amount of inventory packed into your yard. 😂

And because apparently I don’t already have enough projects, I have now decided that I NEED an aquarium in my bedroom.

Not want.

NEED.

So… anyone local have one they want to sell? I’m looking for an entire setup — tank, stand, filter, light, all the goodies. Preferably something decent-sized because we all know I’m incapable of doing anything small or reasonable.

Because clearly what my life is missing right now is another living thing that requires my attention. 🤦‍♀️😂

But damn it, I want to fall asleep watching fish.
