Yesterday was a beautiful day ☀️for a fitting tribute with a hometown celebration for the Dunnellon Tigers Youth Athletics 10u National Champions!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you to everyone that attended and participated.

Special thanks to our emcee Tom Golden fromRiver Life Church Dunnellon High School Football Coach Tommy Sutton, Anita Williams who sang the National Anthem beautifully while the Central Florida Skydiving team 🪂🪂🪂🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸delivered the National Champion Team Flag to Dunnellon Youth Athletics President Ramon Tappan and WOWED the crowd. It was amazing!!

Marion County Commissioner Kathy Bryant presented a proclamation and shared that this team has now been entered in the Marion County History books that will live forever. This team will always be a part of history! 📖📖

City of Dunnellon Mayor Walter Green who presented on behalf of the community, and local Dunnellon residents Brenda & Jim Gissy and Donna & Rick Hancock a generous donation of gift cards to Dick’s Sporting Goods for each player and restaurant gifts cards for the coaching staff.

Mayor Green also read the proclamation that was passed from the City of Dunnellon proclaiming that the week of December 8th, 2024 would be their week to recognize this crowning achievement.

The Dunnellon Chamber & Business Association recognized the team and coaches with gift cards from the local Go For Donuts and McDonalds as well.

They ended the event with a delicious barbecue from Seth Ray a supporter and coach with Showtime that has a
7 on 7 football league.

It indeed was a day filled with lots of smiles and a showed the continued legacy of Dunnellon. 🏈🐾🏈
