🌙🌙 A moon so nice, I made it twice! The site is closed for spring cleaning (and maybe a new layout! 👀), but it will be back soon. In the meantime, enjoy these sister crescents! I ADORE brass, but the silver has a nice energy to it too that looks so lovely with my usual stack of necklaces. This necklace is an adjustable y-chain design, but I can always convert it to a regular necklace on request. 🩶💛

✨MAGIC MAKER✨ I’ve wanted to do this design for the longest time. The bolts were among the first charms I sourced when I started making jewelry (like 5 years ago at this point, ugh), but I could never find the right hands. Until late last month, when I found a small batch of these Victorian ones, and suddenly I knew it was time.

I guess that experience is a metaphor for knowing what you want and sticking to it and not accepting anything less than what you’re manifesting. Do with it what you will, but I hope you see some parallels in your own life as well.

Magic Maker is up today. Brass findings on surgical steel hooks, about 2.5” in length. I hope it helps you recognize the power you’ve had this whole time!

✨🐍COMING SOON✨ The year of the snake is coming to an end, and boy what a year of change it’s been 🫠. I took the year off here for some much needed reflection, and turns out the hiatus was what I needed. It’s nice to be back.

Serpentis will go up this weekend. Brass findings, surgical steel wires, 3” long and makes the sweetest twinkle sound if you move your head right. 🥹 This might actually be my new favorite design. Keep your eyes peeled for more newness soon. ❤️✨

Happy 2025 and happy first full moon of the year! 🌕January’s full moon is also called the , and I can’t imagine a more appropriate date to release this beauty to the world. Based on a conversation I had with my partner while admiring a GORGEOUS low-hanging crescent (and maybe based on a text meme???), we came to the conclusion that the moon holds domain over three of our favorite entities: Water, Women, and Werewolves. The 3” sticker is perfect for water bottles (whether it’s drinking water or moon water for spells) and anywhere else you want to proudly display your moon worship. 🌝😍 Snag one today!

Last week (Sept 26) was this whole ding-dang thing’s sixth birthday. Happy anniversary to me and this little brand! I made something special, a little sparkly set inspired by the Seven of Pentacles. “Whatever your situation, keep going—you are nearly there.” May this piece be a sweet little talisman for perseverance and staying with it in the face of frustration and burnout, that one day we will be able to reap the rewards of all our work, whatever that may look like, and maybe have a little extra brass in our pockets. Cheers to 6 years! Here’s to the next trip around the sun.

Happy autumnal equinox to all my northern hemisphere followers! It’s officially spicy crunchy leaf season, my favorite time of year! It’s a little different in the southeastern US, less frolicking in cute sweaters with hot beverages like I did back home in the northwest and more cursing the lingering humidity while I overheat in a festive, spooky tee. All the same, I find ways to cope, like making cute autumn-inspired jewelry with this cute squirrel motif! Hoping for cooler days ahead as always and maybe a pumpkin patch or two with copious amounts of pumpkin-flavored nonsense.

A little weekend of assemblage over here includes these crowd favorites! These little hearts are now gold-plated, but I still do love the classic brass ones too. Snag one at if you’re in the Raleigh area or in my little corner of the web or at my next event! ✨🫀✨

MMTM2024 Day 8 | My Brand

Tibbin Designs is pragmatically optimistic. I can be cheerful and will always try to look on the bright side of many situations (in spite of or maybe because of my chronic depression), but I also know when to pump the brakes and be realistic about a s**t scenario. It can’t always be sunshine and roses, but I sure as hell am gonna give it my best when appropriate. I like to think this translates into my work as well.

Tibbin Designs is approachably weird. Yeah, I’ve got some basic run-of-the-mill stuff in my catalog, but I can’t even begin to count how many times folks have been lured to my booth by the giant cicadas and just couldn’t stop themselves from giving those bugs a closer look. Or maybe it’s the snakes, or the scrying pendulum necklace, or a Halloween pin in April. My table certainly gives off a certain ✨energy✨, but that doesn’t stop me or my Booth Babe from welcoming our fellow Black Sheep with the warmth of an old friend.

Tibbin Designs is about seeking beauty in the unexpected. Celebrating bugs in all their glittering, creeping wonder; honoring death in pins and stickers not because it’s macabre but as a reminder to live life; combining simple or overlooked metal elements in complex and curious ways; even the choice to use brass because of how elegantly it patinas with age and how much abuse it can withstand—so much of what I do is in the pursuit of revealing beauty or kindness where it might otherwise be unseen, sometimes in ways that surprise and delight even me!

May this brand continue to be these and so much more as it marches on. 💕
