Minnesota Quilters made the hard decision, but the right decision, to cancel the annual state conference this year. It was to be held in June in St. Cloud. I was in charge of all the classes that were supposed to be offered.

Because we had GREAT faculty and classes lined up, because these faculty have lost much of their livelihood, and because quilters still want to learn, I'll be featuring them and the online opportunities they are offering in the upcoming weeks!

Looking for a class where you can finish a top? This is it!

Karla Overland of Cherrywood Fabrics will be teaching at the 2018 Minnesota Quilters Quilt Show in Saint Cloud MInnesota.

All-day workshop
Pre-cut strips make this a quick and easy project. The whole top is made from 24 strips that you sew together, cut up and layer together. Raw-edge appliqué the leaves on to the background. Use a small zig-zag stitch to sew down the edges in a variegated thread.

It has been fun hosting Sew Together events! One more set coming next week: making pillows! Quick, easy, fun - done in 3 hours! Sign up for Wednesday, May 9 - at either 2:00 or 6:00.
After that I'll take a break for daughter 1's wedding, daughter 2's college graduation, and the Minnesota Quilt Show.
