Serious question… what do you consider an influencer? 🤔
To me, an influencer isn't just someone with a large following. It's someone who genuinely influences people in a positive way—someone who inspires, encourages growth, shares value, and has good morals.
Something I've noticed lately is that some creators receive hate comments and choose to publicly expose the people behind them. Do I think bullying is okay? Absolutely not. But personally, I don't think responding with the same energy is the answer either.
If you're truly confident in who you are, you don't let negativity bring you down or change your character. You block, delete, pray for them if that's your thing, and keep moving. Happy, secure people don't spend their time tearing others down, and I don't want to waste my energy going back and forth with negativity.
To me, being an influencer is also about how you handle difficult people and situations. It's about choosing to lead with grace, protect your peace, and continue being the kind of person you want others to become.
I'd love to hear your thoughts. What does being an influencer mean to you? 👇🏼🤍
