Tomorrow, the city of Hartford and the town of East Hartford Connecticut will be celebrating their annual Juneteenth celebration this year. We will be doing it together as opposed to two separately individualized celebrations.  Something to Root About will be in the East Hartford side at the River Park and from there you can take a walk across the bridge and visit the HARTFORD side on the Connecticut river Plaza. We hope to see you there. We have tons of plants to sell and we will also be having a kids potting station (while supplies last)

She did it!!!
She’s going to a new home today.
Elease, don’t forget the instructions.
No bright lights, no water and never feed them after midnight. Oh wait no, that was for the gremlins.
It definitely wants bright light and definitely water and that’s pretty much it.

Introducing the Oxalis Triangularis 
This beautiful, indoor tropical plant is an amazing addition to your home or office space.
This plant is for someone who has the time, the patience and the experience of taking care of house plants because it is a plant that requires a lot of light and a lot of water and does not like to be left alone.
Every morning, the leaves open up to take in the sun and the light and as the day ends and the light levels go down, the leaves close up and the plant essentially goes to sleep. 
I will not take this plant to an event and will only sell it to someone who is serious about purchasing it and will either do a pick up at our home business or will ask for a personalized delivery, but you will not see this plant at any of my events so if you think you’re interested reach out to us and we will make it happen.
