Welcome to “Jewelry “ in the Vines. I create custom, one of a kind beaded jewelry inspired by the sparkle, depth and balance of nature. I use a combination of natural stone, bohemian crystal, unusual shapes and textures with gold and silver plate accents. In addition, each piece is unique( I never make anything twice) and as you can see from my displays at local craft shows and farmers markets, I am not afraid of color.
When I was five, I desperately wanted to play “Princess” with my older sister. She reluctantly agreed to let me play with her and her friend . I needed to create a princess name for myself and my choice was “Jewelry”. Appropriate for what became my most enjoyable and creative hobby. Having lived in California and selling at the local wineries there, the name “in the Vines” was appropriate. Having moved to the Midwest, perhaps I should change it to “Jewelry “ in the Corn fields. That’s for another time.
