We’ve definitely gathered up some great old advertising pieces up in the past few weeks!! My passion for all things old is definitely VERY VERY BIG but I’ve truly loved the old advertising stuff for years now…. There’s something about old advertising that just speaks to you it shows character, tells a story of the past and is just darn right cool! Advertising has been a huge part of Americana and American history for decades now…. Back in day you could drive down the road almost all across the GREAT USA and you would see old signs for businesses,huge billboards or banners,neons that light up the night sky and so much more to say advertising is a big part the history of this great country is definitely an understatement!!! Anyhow…. Just wanted to show off some of the great old advertising pieces I’ve recently acquired!! Some have recently been sold and some are still for sale!!

This weather we will have this week and next week is giving me those spring fever vibes!!! This weather this week calls for some work at the storage unit getting things ready for some upcoming shows and flea markets I have scheduled for this spring! Can’t wait to put this winter behind us and bring on the warm weather,sunshine flea markets,garage sales estate sales, auctions and time just time spent outside!!! I can’t wait to see what great finds this spring and summer will have store for us!! I love bringing fresh great vintage finds to all of my great customers!!

Super Crappy weather this past weekend while setting up at the flea market…. But was a great time with some good people!! And i managed to find these cool albums while setup there!! So it was definitely worth it!!!

This is exactly why I believe in owning (physical media) rather it’d be music, movies or whatever…. Technology is absolutely great but sometimes I think they think they go to far with it these days everyone is so dependent on technology that its just crazy and these streaming services are taking away all the great stuff that we all love to watch or listen to unless you pay an extra fee on top of your annual subscription charge! But anyways it is what it is but my point to this is START buying the physical media! For one it’s much cheaper than streaming services easier to find and also if for some reason the internet crashes still you’ve got something to enjoy plus it’s just more fun to own the physical thing! 😊 rant over! 59 years ago, Peanuts sparked a whole new season tradition with the premiere of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, but it’s much harder to watch now than it was through the decades thanks to changes from the streaming era.

Following its acquisition of the entire Peanuts animated film library back in 2020, Apple TV+ has now locked down the streaming rights for It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown through 2030.

These were a yearly occurring broadcast that helped to commemorate the holiday, and helped bring in the season for TV viewers everywhere. But with the shift away from broadcast TV, these once easily (and affordably accessed) children’s programs are now being kept behind a paywall.

After decades of being such a Halloween staple, it’s now just another one of the many franchises barred off into different streaming platforms. There’s something a bit sad about all of that.

Not everyday that you find a big giant banana advertising store display and two Walmart shopping carts but yesterday I managed to find both somehow!! And these all came from a church sale! Which is kinda strange but most of my best finds have came from church sales!!!!

Happy Saturday morning!!! Definitely a good day for junkin yesterday!! Picked up some great stuff!! Now we will be doing it all over again today!!! My goal and passion for what I do is to keep working and bringing you the hope amazing finds that are out in the wild and bringing it to the market for all my great customers!!!
