I'm excited to unveil a new collection of runners and placemats, featuring a classic red, white, and blue color scheme with gold accents. The addition of metallic thread and decorative stitching with cams on my vintage sewing machine has elevated the sophistication of these unique pieces. Under The Needle has been updated with new stock: The starfish and hearts were created from the same chenille bedspread, and the flags came from a vintage George Washington spread. After a brief period of unavailability, the flags and starfish are once again in stock. Come and discover these and other exceptional items at the Vintage Shops.

Under The Needle has just been updated with the latest installment. I am currently engaged in working with several new fabrics, which I am fashioning into placemats, runners, and table mats. I find the process of making them highly rewarding. The current batch is now available in the store. I am especially drawn to the colors and contrast of this fabric. It also reminds me of my mom, who had a fondness for geraniums.

Lately, I have been intensely engaged in cutting and sewing pursuits. I regularly describe this activity as my therapeutic escape and a source of enjoyment. As such, I am pleased to introduce my ongoing projects, dubbed Under The Needle. The initial installment features an assortment of flags. Constructed from leftover materials and embellished with vintage buttons, rusty stars, and hand-stamped expressions, I am finalizing them while at the shop today.
