Every day I spend a little time with a pen in my hand and a sketchbook nearby. Some days it’s flowers, some days it’s cards, and some days it’s simply practicing a new line or technique. I truly believe that creativity grows with practice, one sketch at a time.

Along the way, many of those sketches become handmade cards. When I reach 100 cards, I bundle them up and send them to Operation Gratitude, where they are included in care packages for active U.S. military members serving around the world.

It’s a small way to share a little encouragement, a little beauty, and a reminder that someone is thinking of them.

These pages and cards may start as daily practice, but knowing they can brighten someone’s day makes every line, flower, and doodle even more meaningful. ❤️
