I arrived safely to Laramie Wyoming Monday evening. My sewing room is still in progress and I think it is going to be nice. The weather has been nice. There is still a lot of snow and some ice but it is melting. We are supposed to get more snow this weekend but not sure how much it is also supposed to be pretty cold.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I had a wonderful one. I ate enough to last 3 days. I cooked two turkeys and put a lot of meat in the freezer, made some wild rice dressing and some soup. Of course I kept enough in the fridge to make sandwiches and other things over the next few days. The weather has been great. I have a lot of wood under the roof on the back porch ready to go to the fireplace when it gets cold and I love roasting marshmellows in my fireplace too. I have so much to be thankful for. I love my new home, my job and my new friends here.

Since Feb 2, my life has taken a 90 degree turn to a way I didn't see coming. I don't want to go into all the details but it became necessary for me to move into my sewing shop into the rooms that we had designed to house guests to the church where my husband was pastor. He is no longer pastor there. Since the first of February with the help of many I got the things I needed to live in the shop which was actually just my clothes and other necessary items. I was able to bring a few of the things I cherished most but will have to sell everything else, due to the limited space. I now have two part time jobs which will have me working approx 60-70 hours a week. I do intend to keep sewing/quilting/machine embroidery going as well so if you add that in I am going to be a busy girl.

I am doing well and while my life has changed radically I have made myself a new home with my little friend Bobbin (the dog) I still have some organizing and cleaning to do in my new home but for the most part everything is set up and very comfortable for me. For those that know all that has happened this week and been so wonderful, supportive and kind to me, I appreciate it so much. I regret that I will not be able to go to as many community things because of my work schedule, but I do love my little town and how caring and kind they are to those in need. I love my church to and they have been so kind and supportive. I can't say how much I appreciate them and their support and not only the way they have come together to keep the church running but to help me.

Most of all and certainly not the least in any way I am so thankful for the Lord and His blessings and the way He has met my every need. Even though I have to sell all of the things that have taken a lifetime to acquire and worked hard for, I am doing well and at peace with my new life because of Him.

I hope everyone has a great day. Can't wait to get to the sewing room and get some more projects done.
