Elevate Your Mountain Style...
Pinecones is a locally owned business by mother and daughter team, Marilynn Nicola and Rondi Berge. Marilynn went to Aspen in the late 1950’s where she met Rondi’s father, a former Norwegian Ski Champion.
Marilynn and her husband, Trygve, were the first ski related people in beautiful Breckenridge which in 1961 was an old mining town. They started the iconic Norway Haus Ski Shop which was a beloved store for many years in downtown Breckenridge. Rondi came along in 1963.
Because of Marilynn’s extensive interior design portfolio and Rondi’s lifelong retail experience, they decided to combine their efforts to open Pinecones Gifts & Interiors in Avon, Colorado in 2004.
Fast forward to 2017, Pinecones moved to Edwards, Colorado to continue its success in the popular and thriving shopping district of Riverwalk. Our latest endeavor includes our website to expand our horizons and reach out to our friends from all over the country and beyond!
