Since 2019 Effingham County has been one of only a few no kill counties in the whole state. PLEASE like and follow Animal Control page, see if you recognize the strays and foster or adopt if you can. They are now status CODE RED 🚨 If you don’t know what that means, here is a fact 🔽

In 2018, Effingham County put down —— 436 puppies, dogs, kittens and cats. Yes, right by the landfill on Eiche. When the govt. shelter is full, the offices are full, the County vet is housing pets in her business, foster homes are full, there is no choice left.

We have all worked too hard to let it slip away now Effingham! FOSTER, ADOPT, SHARE THE POSTS of the following rescues and shelter! ⬇️
