Let's do a Tawny Throw Back Thursday/Railcar women's denim evaluation.

Tawny 29 years old 2010 in Railcar Vixen low rise skinny double black selvedge raw denim and her 44 years old 2025 in Railcar Emily full leg mid high rise indigo selvedge.

Same girl, same brand, just a little different. We're on our 16th year with Railcar. That's 16 fall release collections. So much work and so many stories. A lot of laughs along with tears. Everything always worked out. Both Tawny and I are still the same people deep inside. Dang, time flys by. I think we're mentally still kids.

What we looked like in the 80s! My parents came to the US in 1975 after the Vietnam War with nothing. My dad worked a few different jobs as a mechanic when he arrived till he landed a permanent job at the LA Metro where he finished his working life to retirement. My dad's a master at fixing anything. If he doesn't know how, he'll figure it out. He now enjoys watching our kids and being a grandfather. He taught me to work hard, buy the tools you need to do the job, and in his own words, "Don't mess it up, Steven."

Time passes so fast. Enjoy everyday. Everything will be okay.

This Saturday! We're going to be a little short handed again! But not to worry. Jenna will be here to help out this Saturday. She's gonna help us with some store coverage and to help us out in the backend. Saturday is supposed to be a beautiful day in the low 80s. Looking forward to that!

Flash Back Friday to this time of the year 2022! It may not feel like it, but we're rounding the corner for best part of the year. Fall is just a couple of weeks away and I can not wait. Tawny and I have your denim and canvas goods for your wearing needs.

Railcar! We design, and manufacture denim, canvas, and other fine goods. Tawny and I showcase what we do on this Instagram platform. I take inspiration in different interest and visuals of what I like. There's a lot of mechanical, music, and adventure influences in our brand and styling. Tawny and I have the same vision that goes into everything we do. We hope you like our company and journey! We looked forward to this 2026 fall kick off and it's finally here.

Tomorrow! Tuesday 8/18/26 8:00AM! Railcar Torker Geometric Shirt. We're releasing 9 ordering slots for this shirt. We got our hands on a small roll of this medium weight denim shirting fabric. Enough to make 9 Railcar Torker shirts. We'll be also using my personal collection of vintage 1800s-1940s mother of pearl cat eye buttons. The construction is what you already know and love of our Eliminator and Torker design, like flat felled side seams with the oversized gussets, and run off chain stitches.
