It is always an honor to serve the men and women in uniform. I love and respect every one of them. They train harder than most people can imagine—mentally, physically, and emotionally. Over the years, I’ve met soldiers in my store who were completely exhausted from the weight they carry.
Some walk away because the pressure becomes too much. Some go AWOL. Tragically, some lose their battles in silence and take their own lives. Every time I hear that a soldier has died, my first question is always the same: How old were they? It breaks my heart when the answer is a young life lost while serving this country.
For many of them, the battle begins the moment they arrive on post. The training is relentless, and the expectations are high. Yet they continue to stand, train, and serve so the rest of us can live in peace and freedom.
This is why we must remember something important: when we hope for America to fail, we are not just wishing failure on a political leader—we are wishing failure on the very men and women who protect us every single day.
Set aside the politics. Set aside the divisions. Stand behind our military. Support them. Pray for them. Encourage them.
Because when they step into the fight, their greatest hope is simple—to come home safely. And they deserve to know that the people they protect are standing firmly behind them here at home. 🇺🇸
