It is always an honor to serve the men and women in uniform. I love and respect every one of them. They train harder than most people can imagine—mentally, physically, and emotionally. Over the years, I’ve met soldiers in my store who were completely exhausted from the weight they carry.

Some walk away because the pressure becomes too much. Some go AWOL. Tragically, some lose their battles in silence and take their own lives. Every time I hear that a soldier has died, my first question is always the same: How old were they? It breaks my heart when the answer is a young life lost while serving this country.

For many of them, the battle begins the moment they arrive on post. The training is relentless, and the expectations are high. Yet they continue to stand, train, and serve so the rest of us can live in peace and freedom.

This is why we must remember something important: when we hope for America to fail, we are not just wishing failure on a political leader—we are wishing failure on the very men and women who protect us every single day.

Set aside the politics. Set aside the divisions. Stand behind our military. Support them. Pray for them. Encourage them.

Because when they step into the fight, their greatest hope is simple—to come home safely. And they deserve to know that the people they protect are standing firmly behind them here at home. 🇺🇸

Condolences to Our Fallen Military Heroes

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

To the families, friends, and fellow service members who carry the weight of this loss, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences. Your loved ones stood for honor, duty, and freedom. Because of their sacrifice, our nation remains strong.

We recognize that words can never truly ease the pain of such profound loss. However, please know that their service mattered, their lives had purpose, and their legacy will live on in the hearts of a grateful nation.

May we always remember their bravery. May we honor them not only in words, but in how we live — with integrity, unity, and gratitude.

With deepest sympathy and respect.

The fallen servicemembers were identified as Captain Cody Khork, Sgt. 1st Class Noah Tietjens, Sgt. 1st Class Nicole Armor, and Sgt. Declan Coady.

My friend just send me something last night and ohhhh its sad. Karma is real people. Our mind is like a magnet so stay positive express your frustrations but NEVER wish someone bad because Yahweh will take care of business he is alive. Be kind, be nice and be humble. Toxic behavior will poison your soul. Just remember, people have enough drama at their home the least we can do is post something productive and uplifting to brighten their day. Stay blessed everyone it is a new day. I don’t know about you but I am going to get to work kick ass again and play my beautiful songs because life is beautiful.

I have been blessed with a purpose, which is to share my blessings with others. My profession is my passion, despite the fatigue that accompanies it. El Paso is home to numerous alteration shops, some of which assert their dominance. However, we are a small, family-run sew shop near Fort Bliss. We will not claim to be the best, but we give our best. Thanks to all the soldiers and Airmen who sometimes travel to El Paso to get their uniforms done.
