I spent the last few days counting all the inventory from the booth and have now added 615 items back into my Square site, one by one. It was exhausting, emotional, and strangely healing. ✨🌻 Today we received the heartbreaking news that all Painted Tree Boutique stores across the nation have closed their doors. We received this news via email with no forewarning at all. We’ve been given just 10 days to collect all of our inventory. This was a complete shock, and it’s a tough moment for small business owners everywhere.

To all our amazing customers who have supported us over the last year and a half at Painted Tree Boutiques - Colorado Springs, CO — thank you. Your kindness, encouragement, and purchases have meant more than you’ll ever know. You helped us grow, dream, and create something we were proud to share with you.

We will work quickly to get everything back up on the online store as soon as possible and will be having some great sales! Over the next few weeks, we’ll be taking time to evaluate our next steps and what the future of our small business looks like. I know we haven’t been as present online as we could’ve been. We had been excited having the store where it could run daily on its own.

Even in this time of uncertainty, we trust that God’s plans are always better than our own. We’re holding onto that hope as we move forward.
