Here's a great music intro opportunity for kids from our dear friend Soquel Ross, who recently hosted our musical circle here in our shop.
"Hi Mamas!
I have 2 spots available for a musical foundations class for 4.5-6 yr olds on Tuesday mornings at 10:45 near Parker Rd & Orchard.
We learn SO MUCH MORE than music in our class, throughout the year the students develop confidence, self control, teamwork, focus, & coordination. My program is based on childhood development research and each activity is tied to brain development and geared towards helping the children develop skills they need for reading, math, language arts, writing, and so much more!
On the music skills side, the students learn all the fundamentals needed to be successful on an instrument. Ear skills, music notation/reading basics, tempo, dynamics, steady beat, melody, harmony and so much more! Children who go through this class and move into instrument lessons tend to thrive as they already understand the music intuitively and have the discipline and desire to learn that's necessary to succeed .
The class runs for the school year and is $120 a month.
