Sometimes the purpose of Gods plans are bigger than ours. I’m asking for prayers and love as I step into a very hard situation. We’ll be closing the store for a few days as I prepare my home to welcome children for emergency foster placement and get them enrolled in school on Monday.

This is deeply personal for me—because once upon a time, someone did this for me. Someone made space, showed up, and reminded me that I mattered. That I could have a good life. A better life. That kind of care stays with you.

Now it’s my turn.

It’s time to pay it forward—to open my home, give my time, and my heart to young people who need support, stability, and a safe place to land. This is bigger than business. It’s about community, compassion, and showing up when it counts. This will be hard, but with grit, grace, and trust in God-it’s possible.

Helping your neighbors isn’t always easy, but it’s always important. And sometimes, it can change the entire course of someone’s life.

Thank you for supporting me as I step into this for these children. There is a silver lining in this. I hope you’ll see it with me. Thank you for understanding. We’ll reopen Tuesday at 11am.🤍

*April 1st I will be closed to take my father to his doctors appointment. His heath has significantly declined due to missed doctors appointments. It is detrimental for his health that I get him fitted for the correct prosthetic. Thank you all for understanding. There’s a purpose for this season.

Edit: 3/20 - Jaxon is still not feeling well and he passed it on. I can’t make it to the shop to change the sign on the door today, but we will be open Saturday 3/21. I’m deeply sorry for this inconvenience. I appreciate your understanding.

One day you’ll see more than just me at the counter ready to help you! For now- it’s just myself and the kiddo making it work the best we can. ✨ Honestly? I’m lucky to have all of you here helping this vision become something beautiful. So many small local shops are ran by one or two or three people. When life happens, it’s a blessing to live where people understand and know we’re all doing the best we can. 🖤

My baby wasn’t feeling well today. He’s resting snuggled with his stuffie buddies and that means I’m taking full advantage of the quite and ordering
✨NEW MERCH✨+ Restocking your favorites!

Edit: this post is an hour and a half late- I didn’t realize the original one at 10 didn’t post! Sorry for any inconvenience. See you Friday, 3/20! 🫶🏼

✨Friday, March 13th 2026! ✨

The last two months have been a labour of so much love, occasional choice words 😅, patience, trust, and intention! This next chapter reflects our growth as a collective.

This experience has been a roller coaster I’d get on again and again. Thank you for your patience and allowing us the opportunity to continue to grow on main! 🖤

This new space was built with the “what if’s”
at the front and intention at its core.
Intentional growth.
Intentional partnerships.
Intentional atmosphere.
Intentionally a ✨Vibe✨.

New energy is filling the room.
New stories are ready to be told.
We’re also welcoming new artisans into the
family — makers whose work speaks to quality, creativity, and heart.

Every step into this new space has been guided by growth — in our community, in our artisans, and in the vision of what The Silver Lining Collective Co. is becoming. What we’re becoming exactly is still unclear. All I know is the true beauty life has to offer will always be the journey of it all. Thank you for being apart of this journey with us. We cannot wait to welcome you into this new space!

Doors reopen March 13th at 11am! 🎉
Come experience this new chapter with us. ✨

Beautiful souls, thank you so much for sticking with us this last year!

Although I didn’t reach my ambitious goal of 4 weeks🥴😮‍💨😅, this schedule works out even better and feels perfectly aligned with my goals for this business! I’ve entered into week 6 of the official remodel and the new space is almost complete!! 🎉 This make over at 113 is HUGE and I can’t wait to show you the DIY Project that has been tackled! I might be sore all year after this one y’all.😅😮‍💨🤘🏽 This small business is going through a transformation and I’m thrilled it’s in 2026! I’m so excited and honored to share this adventure with ya’ll! Through it all we owe our utmost gratitude to you. You’ve allowed us the opportunity to make it through 2025/26 construction on main, serve our community, and continuously evolve into what The Silver Lining Collective Co. is meant to be! 🫶🏼

Today, February 17th, 2026, starts the Year of The Fire Horse — symbolizing strength, freedom, passion, transformation, and bold forward momentum. 🧧✨

The year of shedding is at its end & discernment is asking to be your new bestie. 💅✨

The Fire Horse reminds us to walk in confidence as we transform, move with our true energy, be bold in our choices, in our passions, and trust the adventure ahead. This is the year to not just break out of the stable, but to set it on Fire and never look back. This is the year to move with intention, grace, and a little extra sparkle. 😉✨

As we step into Lunar New Year 2026, we’re encouraged to embrace creativity, intentional movement, and the courage to chase what sets our hearts ablaze.❤️‍🔥

Thank you for riding alongside us, supporting handcrafted artistry, loving our products, saying so many wonderful things to others, trusting us, and believing in what’s being built! Your grace as I learn and grow as a business owner will never be forgotten. 🖤✨

This year my wish for you is that you find the strength and courage to ride your calling proudly, and chase what sets your soul on fire. Just as you’ve done for us. 🔥🐎

We will be re-opening at our new location in March!! Details drop 3/3! 🎉🎉🎉

New Year; New Space! ✨🔭
Mind focused only above.

We’re moving! 📦
Same heart. Different walls.
Not far—just a few buildings over.

It feels like more than a move.
It feels like a line in the sand.

I don’t know where this road leads—I never really have. What I do know is that my whole soul is in this. Every risk. Every hope. Every prayer whispered quietly, followed by the choice to keep moving forward anyway.

Today, no electric and no water. Didn’t matter. Eight hours were spent in the new building. Planning. Questioning. Wondering. Getting ready. Toddler running feral. So much work got done. The vision stayed crystal clear. A vision that’s been made possible because you chose to shop with us.

Through everything. Here you are and I’m humbled, grateful, and driven. You all have taken a huge chance on myself, artisans, and what’s being built. Gratitude will never be enough. That’s why I’m going to show you how thankful we are. By rolling up our sleeves and getting to work. Never did I EVER think I’d be here. Yet, I was dragged right to this point. That’s not relying on your own judgement- This comes from trusting in something bigger.

Giving the moment my all is what I’ve always done. Year after year. Never knowing what’s next but doing it anyway. It’s how I clawed my way out of the trenches. How I slowly rose toward something more. From not being able to afford much of anything, to working relentlessly to build everything. Brick by brick.

This isn’t about leaving anything behind.
It’s about trusting what’s next. About keeping my hands in the dirt even when the path isn’t fully in sight.

I’m not here to coast. I’m here to do the work. The kind that’s unseen. Uncomfortable. Unshaken. Just a few doors down, but rooted even deeper.

The kind of work that builds everything I’ve got in my soul from nothing. Once again, I’ve dove headfirst into something and I’m figuring it out as I go. Blame it on my red clay roots. Blame it on resilience. Blame delusional optimism. January will be spent busting tail to get moved over! The year of shedding is coming to a close. February starts the year of the horse. I strive to embrace that fully, forever chasing that Silver Lining. 🌙✨

This is how I step into 2026—
heart open, sleeves rolled, hands in the dirt, ready to build whatever comes next.

Whether this is forever, or for right now I can’t wait to take this dive with you.

More to come when details on opening day and final plans are secured! Your patience and understanding as Downtown Elk City and The Silver Lining Collective Co. wrap up construction will forever remain a staple in this journey etched in my heart forever.

Cheers to 2026! 🥂
All my love,
Dj 🌱🖤✨

A Letter of Gratitude to our Community:

🖤✨ Happy New Year! ✨🖤

Finding the right words for this post was hard. I’ve thought about everything over and over, and I’m honestly flooded with emotion. One thing I know for sure—our doors wouldn’t be open without you.

In the absence of faith, there is fear. In the presence of faith, there is trust—even when nothing makes sense. I took a huge leap this year and kept going when the odds were truly stacked against everything… especially the numbers. Being wildly optimistic was the one thing that held steady.

Then it happened—the moment that changed everything. I believe every stage of growth comes with a defining moment. Ours came when complete strangers walked through our doors with so much love, grace, and kindness. Kindness was the one that stood out the most.

Right as I was about to admit I didn’t make it, through all that had been thrown our way in the first year being open, I saw something different. It came out of left field so unexpected… then everything changed. It was incredible to talk with so many of you about everything and nothing all at once. I tried to hide it, but I struggled with exhaustion—I know that was obvious. Yet each one of you saw the mess, the trials, the mistakes, and looked right past them to see the bigger picture. That is grace, and it was received deeply.

This year was stressful, to say the least—but every day I was reminded that most people are good. I was reminded of why I started this journey as a new business owner in the first place. I was as green as they come, and still, you showed up. Through every hurdle, here we are—thankful, grateful, and blessed beyond measure.

Still learning, still growing, and ready to tackle whatever comes next.

As we welcome 2026, I want to reflect on how we turned unexpected challenges into real growth, all thanks to your incredible support. We’ve grown into a true family of artisans and friends, and your support means everything to us. For everyone who stuck with us through the messy times—we are so deeply grateful. This whole journey started as an idea tossed around by two best friends, fresh out of high school, in a college dorm, 11 years ago. The fact that we’ve made it to this point will forever be a testament to what faith and a great community can do. This was meant to be more than a place of shopping. It was built with the idea of being a safe place for EVERYONE —no exceptions. Created with the reminder that even in the messiest seasons, there is always a silver lining waiting to be found.

As we move into 2026, we’ve got a big announcement coming soon that we can’t wait to share. In the meantime, we wish each and every one of you a new year filled with grit, grace, and endless blessings. May 2026 bring you growth, joy, love, and adventures beyond what you can imagine. 2025 will be a year we never forget—now onto the next chapter with the same heart and vibes that carried us through.🌱

With all our love and endless gratitude,
The Silver Lining Collective Team

My least favorite thing to do is admit I’ve reach a limit. 😅 With that being said- I woke up feeling absolutely horrible today. With our family Christmas tomorrow, and all the illness circulating, I will be closed today, Friday(12/26). Sorry for any inconvenience and I appreciate your understanding!

Edit: I will be closed Saturday(12/27).
Will reopen Monday!
