We are located on 2104 Broadway Street in Elk Horn, IA - just a few miles north of I-80 Exit 54. The Egg Krate is located north of exit 54 on I-80, in Elk Horn, Iowa. Once known as an egg candling business, the Krate offers the perfect building to house nearly 50 vendors with consignments of antiques, collectibles, vintage, retro and primitive items, as well as furniture, tools ... and more!

Happy Father's Day from the Egg Krate! We are here until 4 p.m. today - the last day of our vendors with Father's Day sales specials running.
But there is still time to sign up for our $250 gift certificate drawing to be held on July 3rd!
While you're in town, stop by the Danish Windmill - they have free admission today as well as Master griller serving until 2 p.m.

We have a very special visitor at the Krate ... Everyone please give Marinus a warm welcome! Word on the street is he really enjoys having his picture taken with new friends.

So many great things coming up in Elk Horn, Iowa ...
Thursday, June 18 is Throwback Thor's Day, starting with The Kringleman Pastries serving æbleskiver and medisterpølse from 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. and the The Norse Horse Tavern with Frikadeller dinner from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. The Krate will be open until 7 p.m., with Viking Barb at the helm, and several vendor specials. While you're in town, check out Ærø Arts - (also open until 7 p.m.) offering the work of talented artists from near and far.
Friday and Saturday (June 19 & 20) The Egg Krate will be kicking off Father's Day Weekend with 9 a.m. opening.
Saturday, June 20, celebrate Sankt Hans Aften at the Museum of Danish America. Then Sunday, June 21, stop by the Danish Windmill for Mill Day, with free admission from 10 - 4 and Master Griller Catering and Concessions serving Danish hot-dogs from 11 - 2.
