It was so crazy Saturday with the North Dakota Open (which was a great meet by the way), that I completely forgot what day it was. 11/2/2017 was the day Squat 2 Depth began as a company. This was on of our first posts. Time has gone by, product has changed, I’ve failed, learned, and executed. However, one thing that has stayed true in two years is our number one goal of giving back to the lifters. From apparel, to meets, to now operating a gym in our hometown and sponsoring what we can. Staying true to your values and who you are will always guide you in the right direction. Never compromise your values for likes, follows, or even money. I have made some incredible friends on this journey. I have met some incredible athletes. Through this brand we have created one of the strongest team of athletes in the world all competing for the top spots. Thank you to everyone for your support, your love, and your feedback. Here’s to another year of bigger and better things.

Rounding out our latest addition of athletes for the year we are happy to bring on board Haley Hill . Haley started lifting a year and a half ago and is based out of our home town St Louis, Mo. Haley is the current #1 ranked 123 Junior lifter in the world and #3 ranked 132 Junior. ⠀
Competing at the 123/132 weight classes, her most recent meet was last weekend at the Surge Pro Am. Haley squatted 424lbs, 231 bench, and 419lb Deadlift giving her a 1074 total and 555 Wilks. Welcome to the strongest team in the world !

2/2 (passed on my 3rd attempt) opener was 484, second was 512 (video shown). Sunk it too deep taking me out of position. Elbows were screaming after this. The goal is to go to Palm Springs for Nationals In July. Hitting my 2nds will get me there.

This weekend is going to be big in the Chicago area. If you are within a few hours drive then I suggest heading up to the Power Surge Pro Am.
