In September 2019, Chris and I visited our friends in Colorado. It was a really special time because we love them, but also because they were newly engaged! We really got to see all of the fall colors in the landscape.
It was during this trip that she requested a quilt inspired by what was around us. This was what she wanted for a wedding gift.
I agonized over which pattern and fabrics to choose. I was drawn to this pattern because it’s just eye catching! It’s also named the “Rocky Mountain Bride’s Quilt”! How perfect!
I used some of our photos to select fabrics. I think I did okay! ☺️
Needless to say, a lot has happened since then. They’ve moved out of country, gotten married, moved back, changed jobs, and added to their family! 🐾
She hasn’t seen it finished yet. She asked for a sneak peek, so, I thought I’d blast this on social media. 😂😂
I won’t ship it. In fact, she may have to pry it from my cold, dead hands! 😂😂 Seriously, I’m just holding it hostage until she visits again! I hope they know how much love is in those stitches! Much love to you both! ❤️❤️❤️
