My Dad is Lewie Johnson. He's an expert hunter and trapper, and he learned his skills starting at a young age on the north branch of the Au Sable River. He and I just finished his memoir, and we'll have books back from the publisher in a couple weeks. The book is 267 pages, and is large print for old eyes. Price is $20. Anyone who grew up in the great outdoors in the 40s and 50s might be interested in the book, as well as his former coworkers at Bear Archery.
