A little over eight years ago this 25 year old had big dreams for this little space and because of YOU those dreams came true! These four walls have seen happy tears and sad tears, stories of acceptance letters, graduations, birthdays, engagements, birth announcements, family illness and loss, new jobs, moving, you name it.

And while we won’t be cheering you on from these walls anymore just know we’re still rooting for you from afar. This isn’t the ending we had anticipated, but we’ve loved being a small piece of your journey and thankful you allowed us to be a part of life’s precious moments.

Thank you for your unwavering love and support for Simply Oak! Genuine friendships and connections were made that will last even longer than our time at 108.

Elon, it’s been an honor, you’ll always hold a special place in my heart 🤍

Our last full week of shopping starts tomorrow! These past couple of weeks have been so bitter sweet. It has been a true blessing to “reconnect” with all of you as we say our final goodbyes and hear stories of your favorite Simply Oak purchases from over the years. We still have a few things left that will be discounted to 50% off so come stock up! All of our fixtures will be for sale as well so come and shop and take a little piece to remember us! Our last shopping day will be March 25th 🩷 *Fixture sales will be cash or Venmo only.

To all of our amazing customers, supporters and Simply Oak fam - this message is for you.
This photo was taken on January 21, 2017, the day we opened our doors at Simply Oak Boutique. We have been so unbelievably fortunate to meet you and share our love of community, fashion and friendship in this sweet space.
We have been so blessed to have met so many people through this little business. We have donated thousands of dollars/items to local charities, schools, and group fundraisers. We’ve hosted other small businesses and carried their products. Had private shopping parties, bracelet classes, cookie classes, and charcuterie classes. We have shipped our items to 18 different states and have met people from all over the country. We have attended many vendor markets and have met the absolute nicest people who love our business as much as we do!
We set our roots here in Elon because we loved this town and this community. Once a school project and a far-fetched dream we were able to turn Simply Oak into something I can truly say I am proud of. As Simply Oak grew, so did I. I married my amazing husband six months after we opened, we welcomed our son a few years later and had our baby girl just last year. I have the most amazing parents, family, and friends who pitch in at the drop of the hat to help with events, window displays, modeling, you name it they were there. This was truly a family affair and for that I will always be grateful for the love and support.
Like many small businesses, we’ve been navigating some challenges lately. The combination of rising costs, including a significant increase in rent, has caused us to make some difficult decisions – with a heavy heart, we will be closing our doors at the end of March. So come shop with us while you can, everything will be on sale and hugs will be free. Help us spread the word and clear out the shop!
Simply Oak fam as we say goodbye we ask one thing of you. Shop Small. Love on those small businesses who donate to your kids’ soccer team, who give a raffle item to your kids’ school, who support our community, we’ve got some good ones around and they deserve your support!
