Long ago, when my boys were little, and we were Patrons with Queen’s Passes to the New York Renaissance Faire, this would have been my perfect weather for Faire. Overcast, with a hint of a threat of rain. Warm, but breezy enough to be comfortable. Vendors and entertainers driven just a little bit loopy by a lack of crowds. Laughter in the streets.
Come to the Kentucky Highland Renaissance Festival today, and enjoy the perfect Faire day!

I love being able to sneak off during a work day and see Iron Hill Vagabonds perform at the Thistle. I’ve heard them hundreds of times, since they were little boys, with various groups, and myriad styles, and every single time, I am so honored to be their mother. Mark and Ehrich, I love you.
