The Makray family has been in the leather and fur business for over 300 years. Famous in Hungary, the family was a leader in Hungarian leather and fur. The Makray family has been honored with the Silver Crown in 1932, one of only three ever presented, for contributing to Hungarian society. Hungarian-born Frank brought the family business to Denver, Colorado and over the past 30 years has establish

ed a loyal customer base and offering unsurpassed fur and leather service. Frank Makray of Colorado Leathers and Furs has recently expanded his Broadway Avenue operation in Englewood to a much larger and brighter retail space and workshop. Frank’s store is very special – you can personally watch his staff actually craft the bison shearling and fur coats, vests, purses, hats and other products in a welcoming, open environment. You can get custom fit for any one of Frank’s designs, or let him make up your very own design, all hand-crafted right on the premises.
