PLEASE VOTE YES ON WARRANT ARTICLE 7 WHEN YOU VOTE ON MARCH 11. This is for us to purchase the land behind Walmart (Epping Crossing Wellfields). This water is crucial to the growth of Epping. If we do not purchase this land, it will be purchased by another town and we will end up paying much much more in the long run for our water.

Barnes and Noble Book Fair - Epping Middle School will be holding its annual bookfair fundraiser this Sunday, December 8th from 12-4 at Barnes and Noble in Newington. A portion of the total sales will be given back to EMS to help defray the cost of field trips and student activities. Come on down to get your holiday shopping done, buy some books for yourself and get a chance to hang out with your favorite 7th grade teachers. You'll even get to see Ms. Hebert there too! Come support Epping Middle School and have a fun book filled Sunday.

The Harlem Wizards are coming to town for a community event and fundraiser for EES on Thursday November 7th at Epping High School at 7pm. Doors open at 6pm. To buy tickets you can contact Tiffany Snyder at [email protected] or Jen Lawrence at [email protected]. Also can purchase tickets at EES or www.harlemwizards.com/schedules

Prices are $8 students and $10 adults in advance. At the door $10 and $12.

Also have a court side reserved seating package for $25 which includes pre-game meet and greet with 2 Wizard players and a free photo.

What is a School Resource Officer?

SRO

A School Resource Officer (SRO) is a uniformed armed Police Officer assigned to patrol and work in a school as a support to staff and students. They deal with truancy, bullying, violence, teach DARE to the students and protect students and Staff from potential harm.
The estimated cost to have a SRO in place this year would be less than $30 for a house valued at $250,000.
On March 12th we have the opportunity to vote a School Resource Officer into our Epping Schools. Most of our neighboring towns already have a SRO in place and many others that don’t are voting them in. If parents do not vote we will not be able to vote this in. This is our school, this is our town and this is our chance to VOTE a STUDENT RESOURCE OFFICER into our schools THIS YEAR!!!
