Lane Boutique is the dream of Allison Emery Gorman to provide Erie with an upscale women’s clothing boutique. Originally from Columbus, OH, Allison moved to Erie after attending Miami University and meeting her husband, an Erie native. She began to work for her husband’s family business while making Erie her home. After realizing the potential to provide the women of Erie a store much like that of

her home town, Allison left her job and set out to make her own mark on Erie. Lane Boutique, named for grandmothers Elayne and Lane. Focusing on stylish women’s clothing, E. Lane is a complete expression of Allison, featuring designers, colors, and styles she has in her own wardrobe. “I hope the pieces you get at E. Lane aren’t forgotten after the season, but ones you will keep to be reimagined with new fashions for years to come.” E. Lane is about finding staple pieces to build your wardrobe as well as one-of-a-kind pieces that pop. While the focus of the boutique is women’s clothing and accessories, allowing customers to enjoy their complete shopping experience is important at E. Lane as well. “It’s my goal to build a relationship with my customers, providing them with a personal shopping experience in their own neighborhood.” You will always find something for yourself or someone else, whether it’s a blouse, a unique piece of jewelry, or a candle and card to give a friend. No matter what you find, E. Lane wants you to leave the store happy and feeling good about the latest addition to your closet.
